Thank you for considering starting Fia at your school! By following these easy steps, you will be well on your way to establishing a successful branch.
Your next steps
1. Become a registered member of Fia here.
2. Request a Brochure and an information packet.
3. Gauge interest in your school community. Remember, you need a minimum of five members to start a branch.
4. Follow your school’s procedure for starting a club
5. Conduct your first meeting based off of the parameters set out in the brochure. Remember to have newcomers sign up for Fia here.
6. Draft your bylaws. If you need help, follow this template. Email your final copy for approval to support@fia.bz
Now you are all set, welcome to Fia! Come back to this site after every meeting to record what happened. Your school will be given a page on this website for you to post pictures, videos, and your club’s innovative ideas. Follow the schedule laid out in the brochure, and do not forget to chose your best idea at least one month before the first Fia Conference.
